Welcome as a new member of Nappedam Vinterbader
Our winter bathing community is built on mutual respect and is supported by volunteer work. Before you sign up, it is important that you read our code of conduct.
Code of Conduct
Winter bathing is both a physical and mental wellness experience, and we want our members to enjoy their visits to our sauna. That is why we have created these simple rules.
- Book only one hour in row.
- We always start our winter bathing with a dip in the water before using the sauna.
- We minimize noise and other inappropriate behavior as much as possible.
- We leave any swimwear outside the sauna (this applies to both saunas, where swimwear is not allowed).
- We use a clean and large towel when sitting in the sauna. The towel must cover both the backrest and the bench.
- Seats are not fixed, we remove our towel when we go for a dip, allowing others to change seats.
- We use a separate towel when going for a swim and when drying off.
- If we stay in the sauna for a long time or sweat excessively, we bring an extra towel to absorb the sweat.
- We leave all footwear outside the sauna.
- Only water may be consumed inside the sauna.
- Before pouring water and/or oil on the sauna stove, please ensure that others in the sauna are okay with it.
Aesthetic Considerations
- We show consideration for each other so that no one’s sense of modesty is violated, and we respect others’ personal and linguistic boundaries.
